London police did not disclose the cause of death of the famous soul singer, winner of five "Grammy" Amy Winehouse. However, according to some reports, the singer's death was the result of an overdose.

27-year-old singer died at her house in Camden, BBC reported quoting local police. In the ambulance service said they received a call on Saturday at 15.54 London time (about 19.00 GMT). Two vehicles were sent  at Camden Square, but "doctors could not save the patient." Under investigation, the cause of death is not yet known. Streets around the singer's home cordoned off: Winehouse's fans and reporters are going at the police cordons.

Meanwhile, a British television channel Sky News, with reference to its sources reported that the singer's death was the result of a drug overdose. "This is the version used by the police as workers, but certainly this can be said only after the autopsy and toxicology tests," - said in a broadcast television reporter in criminal cases, Mark White. In the meantime, the police officially qualifies as the singer's death "unexplained", he confirmed.
